Description and materials
- New Open Space 26” frame from innovative French brand Hashtagg.
- This is an exclusive, completely new frame developed and tested for months by Hashtagg Team riders Vincent Hermance and Nicolás Vallée.
- Features multiple updates: completely re-designed main tubes with optimum curvatures, seat tube replaced by two side plates, new geometry, head tube, graphics… this is a huge step in innovation by Hashtagg!
- Fully made from high quality 7005-T6 aluminium alloy.
- Designed for use with a 41.8mm internal top headset bearing, and internal style lower bearing (like Hashtagg or Koxx Sky headsets, not supplied with the frame).
- The top tube has a unique design, with hydro-formed left side to sit the brake hose, which is kept in place much more neatly and less exposed.
- The down tube has variable diameters and curvatures, with a special design of the section near the BB, with additional curvature and two hydro-formed ribs for improved stiffness and higher impact strength.
- Furthermore, the additional curvature allows for extra clearance between frame and obstacles, which helps avoid dents.
- New design of the head tube, CNC machined from a single piece and 130mm long, that maximizes welding surface for the main tubes, with a gusset for the top tube, and two holes at the front to help remove unnecessary material.
- The seat tube has been replaced by two CNC machined side plates, which allow for considerably increased sideways stiffness and welding surface for the seat stays.
- High quality CNC machined dropouts, spaced at 116mm and with the snail cam bolts already included.
- Features 4-bolt rim brake mounts, spaced at 100mm and integrated in a single piece with a built-in brake booster.
- The BB tube is CNC-machined in a single piece together with the snail cams gusset, which increases strength and provides larger welding surface.
- Euro-style 68mm BB tube, compatible with 122,5mm and wider bottom brackets.
- Both chainstays have a hexagonal section, and are joined together near the BB area with a gusset that adds extra stiffness and increases the frame durability.
- Exclusive high quality Hashtagg Open Space finish, shot blasted then anodized in metallic blue, with white and sky blue laser etched Open Space graphics.
