Echo TR 2016 Disc Brake

Description and materials
- New version of the Echo TR disc brake, now updated and improved for the 2016 season.
- The main update is the addition of a cap for the lever piston bore, in order to guide and limit its movement and prevent any leaking.
- Furthermore, each thread and port has been revised and machined with the highest accuracy possible, in order to ensure a reliable, durable sealing.
- Unlike other disc brakes (like many Hope, Avid or Shimano brakes), the Echo TR disc brake features a closed system, like most rim brakes, which eases bleeding and allows for easier adjustment of the bite point thanks to the TPA adjuster.
- Exclusive Echo TR lever design, made from a single piece of high quality 6061-T6 CNC aluminium alloy.
- Features a reversible lever, so it can be used as a right-hand or left-hand brake.
- All parts are mechanized from high quality aluminium.
- The TPA adjuster is also made from CNC-machined aluminium, in anodized red color, located between the lever blade and handlebar to ease its use.
- 2-finger lever blade (85mm long), now stiffer and more comfortable, in anodized black color.
- The caliper is CNC mechanized from 6061-T6 aluminium, with IS (International Standard) disc mounts.
- Includes the Echo TR disc brake rotor, which is also available separately here.
- Available as a front brake or as a rear brake (with 160mm rotor).
- Also includes the Echo TR disc brake pads, although any Hope Trial Zone or Jitsie Race pads will fit too (available here).
- Stunning looks, with anodized black lever body and caliper with silver Echo graphics, and red TPA adjuster, hose ends and bore cap.
- The brake comes already bled with mineral oil, ready to use.

Additional Information
The brake must be bled with mineral oil only (never use DOT oil).

This brake is supplied with a 3-month warranty, which covers manufacturing defects. Any damage caused by an inadequate use, bleeding or unsealing the brake will invalidate the warranty immediately.
