Description and materials
- Crewkerz 108.9 cassette-type freewheel.
- This sprocket is a Cassette type, meaning it is not threaded onto the crank but instead press-fits into the splines of the hub base.
- The splines are the standard Shimano Splined HG type, a very popular system used for decades in MTB and compatible with Crewkerz AS30, Clean X2, Bonz cranks and any crankset using this interface.
- Cog and body made from high-strength treated steel, ensuring maximum resistance to wear and potential impacts.
- Features 9 high-strength treated steel pawls arranged in 3 groups of 36 teeth, providing a total of 108 engagement points per revolution.
- High-quality sealed bearing that prevents dirt from entering the internal mechanism of the freewheel.
- Standard 4-point removal system.
- Oversized springs designed to ensure greater reliability and durability.

Compatibility
- This freewheel can only be installed on cranksets / bottom brackets that feature standard Shimano Splined HG splines at the base of the freewheel, such as the Crewkerz AS30 bottom bracket, Clean X2, Bonz BB24 cranks and similar systems.
- Compatible with 1/8” and 3/32” chains.

Additional information
- It is recommended to perform a short break-in period by riding smoothly for a few hours before starting trial riding, in order to remove excess grease from the internal mechanism and ensure proper seating of the pawls.
- This process can be accelerated by spraying a small amount of oil into the slot between the centre of the freewheel and the teeth.
- If the freewheel is used for trial without first allowing the pawls to seat properly, it may not function correctly and can skip, damaging the slot and the pawl mechanism.
- Freewheel failure caused by improper use will directly void the warranty.
