Description and materials
- Revolutionary Jitsie Race brake lever, designed and assembled in Belgium.
- 100% exclusive Jitsie design, developed and tested for more than a year by Jitsie team riders Alejandro Montalvo, Nicolás Vallée, Adam Morewood, etc.
- Its design allows for a 100% linear piston course, making the most of all the pressure applied.
- Both the lever body and lever blade have been CNC machined from aluminium in order to achieve the highest strength and accuracy.
- TPA screw-type adjuster, easy to use and protected inside the lever blade.
- Uses a CNC-machined 14mm steel piston with 2 nylon O-rings, which ensures maximum braking power, higher durability and optimal sealing.
- Ergonomic, 85mm long CNC-machined lever blade, which is kept in place with a pivot bolt with its own threaded base that removes any backlash.
- The lever blade has a 2mm Allen lever reach bolt.
- Hose fitting is orientated parallel to the handlebar, therefore it’s less exposed than with other brands’.
- The handlebar clamp is a single, independent, low-profile part, which screws onto the lever body via a Torx T25 bolt.
- Flip-flop design, so it can be used as a front or rear brake lever.
- Includes an M8 shroud nut and olive, along with the Torx T25 handlebar clamp bolt, 3mm Allen bleeding port and 2mm Allen lever reach bolt.
- Sold singly.

Installation guide:
Follow the steps below for a safe, professional installation:
     1. Remove the bolt that connects the handlebar clamp to the lever body and separate them from each other.
     2. Install the handlebar clamp on the bars making sure the 4Nm marking is facing up. The clamp can be used on the left and right side of the handlebar.
     3. Introduce the M8 shroud nut and olive on the brake hose and connect them to the lever body, applying less than 8Nm.
     4. Slide the lever body into the handlebar clamp and tighten the Torx T25 bolt at less than 4Nm.
     5. Make sure the TPA adjuster applies a very small pressure on the piston, so the piston protrudes out of the chamber (without exposing the O-ring).
     6. Rotate the lever so that the bleeding port points upwards at the highest position possible. This will help air bubbles get out of the circuit easier and quicker.
     7. Bleed the brake and make sure there is no air left in the circuit. Jitsie recommend using Magura Royal Blood brake fluid.

- Any mineral oil based brake fluid.
- All kinds of hydraulic rim brake cylinders from Echo, Racing Line and Magura.

This product is covered for six months from original purchase covering manufacturing defects. Any damage caused by over-tightening the bolts, failing to comply to the recommendations given or any misuse will not be covered under warranty. This product must be returned to original place of purchase to process with any warranty claim.
