Magura HS22 hydraulic rim brake, equipped with the proven closed hydraulic system used throughout the Magura HS range.
- Reversible brake lever body made from Carbotecture, a lightweight and durable material developed by Magura.
- 3-finger brake lever designed to provide progressive and powerful braking.
- Features tool-free Reach Adjust, allowing the lever position to be easily adapted to the rider's hand.
- TPA system for adjusting the pressure point and compensating for brake pad wear.
- Reversible lever, suitable for installation on either the right or left side of the handlebar.
- Available in a front version with 840mm hose and a rear version with 1970mm hose.
- Supplied fully assembled and factory-bled with Magura Royal Blood mineral oil.
- Includes an M8 hose fitting and olive for shortening the hose to the required length. When cut and fitted correctly, the brake does not need to be bled again.
- Features Magura hydraulic slave cylinders and rim brake pads.
- Compatible with Magura EVO2 / Easy Mount mounting systems using the supplied brackets.
- Sold singly (1 brake), with front or rear version available.
Differences compared with the Magura HS11
- The HS22 sits above the HS11 within Magura's hydraulic rim brake range.
- Both models use a 3-finger lever, Carbotecture lever body, closed hydraulic system and Magura Royal Blood mineral oil.
- The main difference is that the HS22 features tool-free lever Reach Adjust, making it easier to adapt the lever position to the rider's hand.
- The HS22 also features the TPA system to compensate for brake pad wear and adjust the pressure point.
- As a result, the HS22 offers greater adjustment possibilities than the HS11 while retaining the proven operation and reliability of the Magura HS range.
